2. Why we collect data

We don’t collect data for the sake of collecting it. We process personal information only for the following “Business Architecture” purposes:

  • Consultancy & Sales: To respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes, and manage our expert assignments.

  • Recruitment: To find the next top-tier advisors to join our team.

  • Insights & Marketing: To share our latest cases and articles with those who have subscribed to our newsletter.

  • Digital Presence (RETA): We use LinkedIn tracking (Insight Tag) to understand which of our professional insights resonate with our target audience.

3. What data we process

We categorize the data we hold into three areas:

A. Client & Partner Data

If you work with us or reach out for consultancy, we store:

  • Name, title, and organization.

  • Professional contact details (email, phone).

  • History of our collaboration (meeting notes, project scopes, billing info).

B. Candidate Data

If you apply to Arked:

  • Your CV and LinkedIn profile.

  • Notes from our “low-threshold” recruitment chats.

  • Competence assessments and salary expectations.

C. Website & Analytics Data

  • IP Address & Device Info: Standard technical logs to keep our site secure.

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (RETA): We use this to track “conversions” (e.g., did a LinkedIn ad lead to a contact form submission) and to show relevant professional content to people who have visited Arked.fi. This data is aggregated and we cannot identify you personally through these reports.

4. Our Technical Stack & Transfers

We use modern, secure SaaS tools to run our business. Some of these providers (like LinkedIn or Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, we ensure legal safeguards are in place, such as the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

  • LinkedIn: For professional retargeting and analytics.

  • Email/CRM: HubSpot for communication.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We believe in a “privacy-first” web.

  • Strictly Necessary: Essential for the site to function.

  • LinkedIn (RETA): These are only activated if you give us your consent via our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

6. Retention: How long do we keep it?

  • Project Data: For the duration of the client relationship + 10 years (for legal/accounting reasons).

  • Recruitment: 2 years from the last contact, unless you ask us to keep it longer for future roles.

  • Marketing: Until you unsubscribe.

7. Your Rights (The “Data Subject” Toolkit)

Under GDPR, you are the architect of your own data. You have the right to:

  1. Request Access: Ask us what we know about you.

  2. Request Correction: Fix any outdated or wrong info.

  3. Request Erasure: Ask us to “forget” you (where legal obligations allow).
